Q: What kind of clothes should I wear?
A: Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting wet (in case you fall in). Some people like just wearing a bathing suit, others wear what they’d wear to a regular yoga class. Bare feet of course.
Q: I don’t own a paddle, life jacket or paddle board, is this required for class?
A: Nope, your class fee includes all your equipment, great deal!
Q: What happens if I fall off my paddle board into the water?.
A: You get refreshed, no worries, climb back up onto your board, it happens every once in a while and is part of the fun!
Q: Do I need to be a strong swimmer to participate in SUP yoga?
A: Not really, most of what we do are postures (Asanas in Sanskrit terminology) and try to maintain our balance on the paddle board. However, falling in means that you’ll definitely need enough command of your swimming skills to not panic and just grab your paddle board and get back on it so you won’t have to swim for too long hopefully.
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Absolutely bring a friend or more than one! We reward you with a $5.00 off coupon towards your future class for each friend you bring.
Q: Can my husband do this too?
A: Of course!! We all need relaxation, flexibility, balance and fitness. Oh, and FUN also!
